OUZO OF CHIOS PSYCHIS REMPIKO

Traditional product from Chios Island in Greece, delivered nearly 140 years. From the first figs and grape pomace distillation in rempikario (distillery) around 1881, for the family ouzo by the priest Manolis and later from his son Antony. Then the first "official" distillery license in 1925 by Konstantinos Psychis and till today, from the fourth generation of distillers. Four generations of children who have learned to love the traditional distillation and products, talk about the story of the family distillery Psychis at Ververato Chios Island in the northeastern Aegean Archipelago as called in Greece.

In Pyrgi village at South Chios island, a traditional decorative art of the 18th century found on the facades of buildings called "Scratch", with remarkably well preserved samples to date. Every detail of the above and the decision of the fourth generation to travel Greek flavors and aromas all over the world bring us today.

The complete and dynamic black and white packaging declares the value it deserves. The shapes of the "scratch" as we will see in reality and the name "Rempiko" came from the place of birth of each Οuzo Psychis droplet, served as inspiration for a transparent bottle, almost "magical" which is transforming according to the environment where it exists. Just like the "spirit" of ouzo, this carried so many different memories for everyone who has tasted it.

Ouzo of Chios Psychis Rempiko, maybe a little more than any other ouzo, has the privilege to whisper the story among friends in Chios beaches and the evening’s during Greek summer. Although it whispers, the sound goes far beyond the island which gave it birth!
